Director’s Bio – Imran J. Khan

Pakistani-American filmmaker Imran J. Khan has written/directed award-winning short films including PROM based on Hasan Minhaj’s HOMECOMING KING. He was also on the editing teams for SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY and MINIONS: THE RISE OF GRU. He recently was selected to The Pillars Artist Fellowship, created by Pillars, Riz Ahmed, and Left Handed Films.

Actor’s Bio – Rizwan Manji

Rizwan Manji is an actor renowned for both television and film. He earned a Best Guest Actor nomination at the 2021 Canadian Screen Awards for his role as Ray Butani on Schitt’s Creek, which became a cultural phenomenon and swept the 2020 Emmy Awards, including Best Comedy. He is also known for playing Rajiv Gidwani in NBC’s Outsourced, the first U.S. sitcom set in India with a predominantly South Asian cast.
 
On television, his credits include the DC Universe’s Peacemaker (as Jamil), It’s Always Sunny in PhiladelphiaThe MagiciansMr. Robot, Better Off Ted, and ABC’s musical special Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration.
 
On the film side, Manji has collaborated with celebrated directors such as Martin Scorsese (The Wolf of Wall Street), Mike Nichols (Charlie Wilson’s War), and Jim Jarmusch (Paterson). He also stars in Re-Election, a middle-age comedy slated for theatrical release this fall.
